Conditioner by Acure

I never let myself run out of this ultra-hydrating Argan Oil & Pumpkin Conditioner by Acure. My hair doesn’t know what to do without it. It is perfect for normal, dry, damaged, and even curly hair. Shamefully so, I still like to get my hair highlighted every few months, so my strands need all of the hydrating conditioner they can get. After using this product, my hair is soft and manageable, which I have found is key to keeping it healthy. After all, the easier my hair is to brush, the less split ends I encounter.

The product shown below on the left is the old branding, the product on the right is that new new.

This product is vegan, sulfate free, paraben free, phthalate free, mineral oil free, petrolatum free, silicone free AND cruelty free. Simply the way it should be. The organic argan oil, argan extract, CoQ10, organic sea buckthorn oil, and organic pumpkin seed oil work together nicely to add shine and lock in moisture.

The first few ingredients include:

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice

Acai Fruit Extract

Blackberry Fruit Extract

Rosehips Fruit Extract

Pomegranate Fruit Extract

One of my favorite things about this conditioner is the incredible way it smells thanks to the addition of sweet almond seed extract. SO LOVELY! Using this conditioner is always a sensational treat.

Safety Razor Review

I find it ironic that they call this a “safety razor” because initially I was frightened to use it worried I would slice myself up. You do need to be very careful when setting up the blade. HOWEVER, after a few uses I can safely say that this will probably be the last razor I will buy. I purchased the WowE Lifestyle brand safety razor and I LOVE IT!

Reasons to switch to a safety razor:

  1. One blade means less irritation, less ingrown hairs, and a more precise shave.
  2. Cost effective. No need to keep buying razors means more money in your pocket and less hassle.
  3. It is eco-friendly and better for our planet. No plastic used and lasts pretty much forever. Plus the stainless steel blades are easily recyclable.

This is a double edge safety razor which means you can use both sides to shave. I actually find this aspect to be the fun – after a shave or two I simply flip the razor around and have a clean side to continue with. There is less clogging too. The hair falls right out with a little water pressure, saving you time from cleaning the razor before returning to your shave.

This is my all time favorite shampoo. My obsession starts with the pump bottle. I am obsessed with large shampoo pump bottles. Who’s with me? The pump is so convenient, and because you receive 32 fluid ounces of product, you won’t have to buy shampoo as often. If you have super long hair like I do you will really appreciate this. I like the Purely Coconut scent best, but totally your preference. It is vegan, paraben free, gluten free, and alaffia doesn’t test on animals and doesn’t add synthetic fragrance either. The shampoo creates an awesome lather and is hydrating. Great for normal to dry hair! This product is certified fair trade, handcrafted, and unrefined. The formula is both simple and effective.
